Paola A Garcia Muñoz, co-founder & cto
Paola is a proud Puerto Rican innovator, software engineer, and co-founder of Tech SHEroes. With a background in data science, software development, and international business, Paola combines her technical expertise with a passion for cultural empowerment. Her career spans roles at industry leaders like Twilio and EY, where she developed innovative solutions and championed diversity in technology. A Business Intelligence and Applied Mathematics graduate, Paola is on a mission to upskill and inspire the next generation of Latina leaders, creating pathways to tech for underserved communities across Puerto Rico.

At Tech SHEroes, our journey began with a shared realization: underrepresented talents were being left out of one of the most transformative industries of our time. As two women who faced these barriers firsthand, we knew that change was necessary. What started as a conversation about challenges quickly evolved into a bold mission to rewrite the narrative of who belongs in tech.
We built Tech SHEroes to address these gaps by focusing on workforce development, economic empowerment, and creating a supportive ecosystem for women to thrive. From hosting mentorship programs to teaching essential skills like networking and negotiating salaries, we are equipping women with the tools to take their rightful place in the tech economy.
